CAD/Drafting Technology - Associate's
Professionals in the Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD) field take raw ideas and convert them into drawings used by architects and engineers to create a finished product.
The Associate of Science in CAD/Drafting Technology program introduces students to AutoCAD applications and commercial and residential drafting techniques. They progress through two-and three-dimensional drafting as well.
Associate candidates take additional courses in civil drafting and general education classes to prepare them for more intensive career opportunities. General education courses are particularly helpful in business environments and include computer applications, communications and psychology.
