The Network Administration course provides students with the skills and knowledge to enter various technology fields. The network administration degree program at Daymar College consists of general education requirements, with a specific course designed to lead to different modules of education.These network administration education modules are special tracks designed to lead to employment opportunities in IT after one or more are completed.
This associate degree is tailored for persons interested in a career developing and designing internet websites. Students will begin their website design courses with the first of many classes devoted to learning about all aspects of the Internet. Additional courses include website designing software such as Microsoft Front Page and Macromedia Dreamweaver and designing static Internet graphics using both Macromedia Fireworks and Adobe Photoshop.Upper level website design courses will include instruction in ASP, Cold Fusion, and designing Macromedia Flash and Shockwave websites. Programming courses in such scripting languages as VBScript, JavaScript and SQL are also stressed in the program of study. Students completing this program will have an opportunity to attain the premier certification in the industry and may become Master Site Designers.This certified Website Design Associate degree is the leading industry standard in website development and is nationally recognized in the field. Graduates may have the education and the specialized education to enter the IT field in such positions as Shockwave Flash Designer, Web Graphics Artist and Website Design and Developer.
