Associate's - Computer Information Technology

This program provides a unique opportunity for students wanting to obtain industry accepted certifications while earning an associate's degree. The IT Academy at Sullivan University continues to enhance the program curriculum based on current technologies. Students may choose from several certification tracks, including CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE); Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA); and Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD). In addition, students may choose to complete courses in other certification programs, including: Oracle Certified Associate (OCA); CISCO® Certified Network Administrator (CCNA); and CISCO® Certified Network Professional (CCNP). Graduates are eligible to take these respective certification exams.

Associate's - Information Technology

The information technology specialist degree provides a unique opportunity for students wanting to obtain Microsoft Certification. The program provides an educationally solid technical program that allows students to earn an associate's degree while completing Microsoft certified courses in network administration and engineering.

Students complete introductory computer science courses to provide a foundation for certified courses in A+ and Network+. The Microsoft courses are taught using a unique combination of in-class lecture and online study, providing the student with an opportunity to experience a real-world network environment.

Bachelor's - Information Technology

The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology Degree (BS-IT) program teaches students to design and maintain information technology systems in businesses or other organizations.

The primary objective of the BS-IT program is to provide students with a very strong technical foundation, including proficiency in programming languages, office applications, operating systems, and the Internet. The exciting BS-IT degree is relevant to nearly every aspect of the modern business world, and gives the student valuable skills in today's highly competitive job market. Graduates may go directly from this program into the Master of Science in Managing Information Technology degree program (MS-MIT) to enhance their assets even further.

Diploma - Information Technology

This one-year program is designed for students with a desire to quickly gain employment skills for an entry-level position in information technology.

The program includes courses in essential information technology knowledge areas such as: business software applications, networking technology, hardware and OS troubleshooting program design, website design and database design.

Master's - Managing Information Technology (MSMIT)

This Master of Science in Managing Information Technology (MSMIT) program is designed to help current Information Technology (IT) professionals meet the management challenges created by the rapidly changing landscape of the IT industry from traditional systems to Internet/Intranet systems. The rapidly growing Internet/Intranet environment has created unique management problems and opportunities in e-business, e-supply and intranet applications that are beyond the understanding of most traditional IT managers.
