The Associate of Arts with a concentration in General Studies
provides students a foundation in liberal arts and sciences based
on a survey of mathematics, physical and life sciences,
humanities, social science, and technology. Students will learn

conversant with the values and terminology of a variety of
academic disciplines. Students also will be able to access

The Associate of Arts-Information Technology focuses on project
management, the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC),
networking, Internet concepts and design, programming
fundamentals, as well as the Java programming language. Courses
build upon the fundamentals of computer and networking design to

concepts. In addition to many different types of evaluations,
students will participate in real-world scenario-based problems

This undergraduate degree program includes 45 credits in the
required course of study and 15 credits in the concentration.
Some courses have prerequisites. In addition, students must
satisfy general education and elective requirements to meet the
120-credit minimum(124 for Kansas students) including a minimum
of 48 upper division credits required for completion of the
degree. At the time of enrollment, students must choose a
concentration.

Leadership degree (DM/IST) is to enable professionals from any
