The Electronics, Computer, and Telecommunications Technology
Certificate program can provide you with the technical and
professional skills required for employment as an entry-level
technician. The program teaches electronics technology principles
and related mathematics as well as logical troubleshooting
techniques.
Another benefit of the program is that it helps you prepare for
the Certified Electronics Technician (CET) Associate-Level exam
sponsored by the International Society of Certified Electronics
Technicians or the Computing Technology Industry Association
(CompTIA) A+ Certification exam.

The objective of the Network Information Systems program is to
prepare students for a variety of entry-level careers in the
network operations and computer technical support fields.
Students will be exposed to all elements of an information system
- hardware, operating systems, software, data, user interfaces,
procedures and personnel. The program meets the skills standards
for a network specialist as developed by the Northwest Center for
Emerging Technologies and the National Science Foundation.
The primary focus of the program is to give students a broad base
of skills with which to pursue careers in the information
technology sector with an emphasis on Microsoft systems.
Graduates will qualify for entry-level positions in the fields of
network administration, network engineering, computer technology,
technical support, user support, computer operations and computer
security.
