Associate's - Applied Information Technology

This program of study prepares graduates for various entry-level positions in the information system field with a balanced overview of technology in the major core. Students are encouraged to work with their advisors to design a program in their area of interest and their technology-related certifications, which may be in Microsoft networking, Cisco networking, or other technical disciplines. Graduates may qualify for positions such as network administrators, network engineers, or other technical positions.

This two-year program of study leads to an Associate of Applied Science degree and is designed to provide education for various entry-level positions in the information systems field. You will work with your advisor to design a program in your area of interest such as programming, database administration, Microsoft networking or software applications. As a graduate, you'll be qualified for positions such as computer programmer, programmer/operator, database administrator and networking or microcomputer specialist.
