Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)

This is an excellent Microsoft certification for beginning Students. Earning the MCP credential qualifies students to install and configure a Windows environment, support applications, troubleshoot and manage resources within the operating system or network. Includes one course.

Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)

The MCSA credential certifies that students have the skills to successfully implement, manage and troubleshoot the ongoing needs of Microsoft Windows-based platforms. Includes six courses.

Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)

The MCSE credential qualifies students to plan, implement, maintain and support an information system in a wide range of computing environments with Microsoft Windows Server with Active Directory and the Back Office integrated family of server products. Includes seven courses.

Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST)

The MCDST credential gets students started in their IT career by ensuring they have the skills to successfully troubleshoot desktop environments running on the Microsoft Windows operating system. Includes five courses.

Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist: .NET Framework 2.0 Windows Applications (MCTS)

Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Database Administrator (MCITP-DBA)

The MCITP-DBA is the premier certification for database server administrators. Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)

CompTIA Certifications

CompTIA A+

A+ certification highlights the competency of entry-level computer service technicians. After completing this program, students will have the knowledge to build, repair, troubleshoot and configure a computer and its software. Includes two courses.

CompTIA Linux+

Linux+ certification training equips students with vendor-neutral Linux knowledge and the skills for foundational Linux operating system proficiency. Includes one course.

CompTIA Network+

Network+ certification training is designed to prepare entry-level networking technicians to install, configure, upgrade and troubleshoot a networked environment. Includes one course.

IT Security Certifications

Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

CISSP is an ideal credential for mid and senior-level managers who are working toward or have already attained positions as CISOs, CSOs or senior security engineers. The CISSP certification provides students with a globally recognized standard of achievement through its review of the 10 domains of the information security practice. It also serves as a strong learning tool for mastering concepts and topics related to all aspects of information systems security. Includes one course.

CompTIA Security+

Security+ certification training equips students with the technical competency to fill front-line security positions. Students will demonstrate an understanding of operational and organizational security and the basics of cryptography. Includes one course.

Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator - Security (MCSA - S)

The MCSA – Security credential certifies that students have the skills to successfully implement, manage and troubleshoot the ongoing needs of Microsoft Windows 2003-based platforms, as well as implement and administer security in a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 network. Includes five courses.

Web Design Certifications

Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW) Associate

The CIW Associate certification is designed to prepare entry level students with the basic hands-on skills and knowledge of Internet technologies, network infrastructure and web authoring using HTML. Includes one course.

Master Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW) Designer

The Master CIW Designer certification enables students to implement and maintain web sites, create web content, design e-commerce strategies and use web management tools. Includes two courses.

Certificate - IT Systems Administrator (ITSA)

The ITSA program is a 37-week, 555-hour program. Candidates are required to pass six exams. These exams provide a valid measuring tool to evaluate the student's competencies and knowledge of installation, configuration and troubleshooting of hardware and software; as well as installation, configuration, troubleshooting, management and maintenance of Microsoft operating systems and Windows 2000 / 2003 network infrastructure. This includes security measures, web authentication and extensive TCP/IP familiarity.

In addition, students must successfully complete the requirements of a 120-hour (eight-week) externship with a sponsoring organization. The externship has important benefits for students, enabling them to:

  • Gain valuable hands-on experience in an IT environment
  • Meet and network with information technology professionals
  • Utilize learned educational skills in real-life scenarios
  • Identify aptitudes, likes and dislikes for various positions
