Diploma - Electronic Technology

The Electronic Technology Diploma program is designed to provide students with diverse training in basic electronics and electronic technology. During the course of this program, students will explore both fundamental and advanced theories in electronics, integrated circuits, microprocessors, computer technology, and home electronics--through classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory experiences and computerized simulations. The program's objective is to prepare graduates for entry-level positions such as:

  • Computer service technicians
  • Electronic laboratory technicians
  • Installation technicians
  • Electronic technicians in communications, instrumentation, digital and computer electronic companies

Students can complete this program in as little as 48 weeks, after earning a minimum of 72 credit hours, including any applicable transfer credits. After successful completion of this program, graduates will be awarded a Diploma in Electronic Technology.
