Diploma - Electronic Technology

The Electronic Technology Diploma program is designed to provide students with diverse training in basic electronics and technology. During the course of this program, students will explore the fundamental theories of electronics through classroom instruction, hands-on laboratory experiences and computerized simulations.

Areas of study will include:

  • Integrated circuits
  • Microprocessors
  • Computer technology
  • Home electronics

Potential careers for these students will include:

  • Computer service technicians
  • Electronic laboratory technicians
  • Installation technicians
  • Electronic technicians in:
    • communications
    • instrumentation
    • digital and computer electronic companies

Students can complete this program in as little as 12 months, after earning a minimum of 72 credit hours, including any applicable transfer credits. After successful completion of this program, graduates will be awarded a Diploma in Electronic Technology.
