Certification - A+/Network+ (A+/Net+)

The A+ and Network+ training classes can be taken independently, but here at ACE we have also developed a program that combines the A+ and Network+ into one combination course. The A+ and Network+ certifications are both in demand for entry- to mid-level IT jobs. These CompTIA certifications also provide the fundamentals one needs to move on to higher-level networking courses. We believe that this class provides our students with the learning foundation they will need to pursue the next stage of employment and IT education!

The A+/ Network+ course provides the student with a solid foundation in PC hardware and operating system knowledge (DOS / Windows 9x, 2000, NT 4.0 and XP), as well as the hands-on training necessary to succeed in the IT industry / workforce. Additional program hours in networking concepts, combined with application software, makes the A+/ Network+ certification class an excellent stepping stone to more advanced certifications.

A+ Certification

To receive the A+ certification students must pass two tests:

  • Essentials
  • IT Technician

Network+ Certification

Network+ is an entry-level certification open to anyone who desires to learn networking basics as a foundation which can be applied towards other advanced networking certifications.

A+ and Network+ certifications provide IT managers and supervisors with an increasingly important benchmark in the hiring and promotion process. What's more, companies are finding that incorporating certified technicians within their organizations helps build confidence and value. More and more companies are requiring computer certifications, such as A+, Network+ as a pre-requisite for employment. The last few hours of the course will be spent doing test prep and review.
