Many organizations and the Internet rely on CISCO®-based networks, making it critical that networking professionals have detailed knowledge of CISCO® systems in order to achieve optimal network performance. Those with a thorough understanding in the deployment of routers, switches and networking principles are in great demand. This program is designed to instill a high degree of proficiency in deploying, managing and configuring CISCO® routed and switched infrastructure. Certified graduates of this program possess the practical skills and knowledge needed to deploy CISCO® routers and switched networks in an Internet-worked environment.
Each class module is 11 weeks in length and includes two integrated 5.5 week components. Course assessment is based on the successful completion of all courses. All classes are offered during the day, night and weekends.
Sullivan University’s program of training includes enhancements to the course that will assist students to be successful in the program and prepares them to take CISCO®’s official certification exams such as CISCO® Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) and CISCO® Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
Certificate - Microsoft Network Engineer

The Microsoft Network Engineer program will provide the graduate with the skills to install, configure, manage and maintain a network operating system. Students completing each portion of the program are eligible to take Microsoft's official certification examinations to earn the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification.

The Microsoft Solution Developer Certificate program is designed to provide the graduate with the skills necessary for conducting analysis, designing, coding, debugging, testing, distribution, ongoing support, project management and research/professional development. Graduates will be specialized experts, ready to design and develop custom business solutions with Microsoft development tools, technologies and platforms, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft BackOffice.

This program provides a unique opportunity for students wanting to obtain industry accepted certifications while earning an associate's degree. The IT Academy at Sullivan University continues to enhance the program curriculum based on current technologies. Students may choose from several certification tracks, including CompTIA A+, Network+, and Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE); Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA); and Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD). In addition, students may choose to complete courses in other certification programs, including: Oracle Certified Associate (OCA); CISCO® Certified Network Administrator (CCNA); and CISCO® Certified Network Professional (CCNP). Graduates are eligible to take these respective certification exams.

This program provides an educationally solid technical program that will allow students to earn an associate's degree while completing Microsoft certified courses in network administration and engineering. Students will complete introductory computer science courses as a foundation for certified courses in A+ and Net+. The Microsoft courses are taught using a unique combination of in-class lectures and online study, providing the student with an opportunity to experience a real-world network environment.

The Master of Science in Managing Information Technology (MSMIT) degree program is designed to help current information technology professionals meet the management challenges created by the rapidly changing landscape of the IT industry from traditional systems to Internet/Intranet systems. The rapidly growing Internet/Intranet environment has created unique management problems and opportunities in the e-business, e-supply and intranet applications that are beyond the understanding of most traditional IT managers.
This degree is intended primarily for data processing, information technology and other professionals seeking to keep pace with the information age. It is designed to increase the probability of the students' advancement to new or expanded management positions of greater responsibility and authority within their professions. The triad of objectives used to measure academic progress toward that ultimate goal includes technical knowledge, conceptual understanding of the issues involved and the ability to conduct independent research to support intelligent business decisions.

The dual Master of Business Administration/ Master of Science in Managing Information Technology (MBA/MSMIT) degree program is designed for those students who would like to complete both degrees in the shortest possible timeframe. The graduates of this program will complete the core requirements for both degrees but will have limited opportunities for electives. Students who pursue this degree will be able to complete it in two years.
The Curriculum of the dual MBA/MSMIT program is divided into two parts: foundation courses and requirements. All foundation courses must be completed before a student is accepted into the MBA/ MSMIT program. Students must earn a “C” or higher in the listed foundation courses. If the student has a grade lower than a “C”, he/she must repeat that course before he/she can begin taking core courses in the MBA/MSMIT program.
