Associate of Applied Science - Biomedical Equipment Technology

The Biomedical Equipment Technology program is designed to
prepare the student for a variety of positions in an industry
that installs, inspects, repairs and maintains medical equipment.
It provides the student training in electronics technology with
specialized emphasis on medical applications and computer systems
technology. Coursework also focuses on anatomy and biology,
engineering and biomedical instrumentation. Students receive a
multidisciplinary skill set that is transferable to many career
fields.

The basis of our associate's degree program is to provide
students with the basic computer skills necessary to enter the
workforce as an entry-level computer networking administrator or
computer programmer in the computer industry.

The Bachelor of Science in Information Technology degree program
prepares graduates to pursue entry-level opportunities in a
variety of fields within the IT arena or add to an existing set
of skills. This IT degree program can prepare graduates for
positions such as information technology manager. The duties of
IT managers can include overseeing the operation of an enterprise
computer network or networks; troubleshooting networking issues,
hardware, and software applications; and training office
personnel in typical office applications.
