Bachelor of Science - Information Management and Security

The Information Management and Security program is a comprehensive, fully online, degree granting program designed to provide students with a solid foundation in information technology and security. Students will acquire a thorough understanding of the essential concepts, theories, principles and applications of information technology, as well as acquiring advanced knowledge of Linux applications, Security essentials, Help Desk support and MSCA core practices. Students will first be exposed to the core principles and procedures of networking concepts, office applications, computer hardware and software, and desktop operating systems. They will also be exposed to the unique challenges of the IT business world and become skilled in customer service essentials.

This program emphasizes hands-on learning experiences based on performance based objectives, and incorporates troubleshooting techniques in every course. The Bachelor of Science Information Management and Security program provides stimulating academics designed to develop the student's strengths in areas that will assist in their personal and professional growth, and provides a balanced study of technical courses with general education. Students will be encouraged and eligible to sit for a specific set of industry certifications such as; CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, Security+, NCLP, MSCA and EC Certified Ethical Hacker. Upon completion of this program, graduates will be trained to be employed in information technology areas as systems analysts, operating support, network support or security support.

Associate of Science - Network Communications and Information Systems (NCIS)

Lincoln's fully online Network Communications and Information Systems (NCIS) program will provide students with a strong foundation on which to build a successful career in Information Technology. With different program concentrations to choose from, students can focus their NCIS training in one of the following areas: Security, Microsoft Systems, Specialized Support, or Linux Operating Systems. Concentration in Linux Operating Systems

With Lincoln's Network Communications and Information Systems (NCIS) program with Linux Operating Systems, you'll be exposed to the core principles of networking concepts including; LINUX and SLES installations, LINUX administration and installing, and configuring a LINUX Enterprise Server.
