Discussion boards and instant messaging tools will allow you to do just that and are accessible through Blackboard. Learning Resources: Sometimes, the Internet alone simply isn't enough. To make sure you find the right information you need, you'll have access to our vast online library and many other academic web resources. Information Technology - Bachelor's12 Quarters This program was designed to educate students in technology and business. Students will learn how to manage technology and effectively communicate with others in a business environment. The core curriculum provides a strong foundation of the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in any IT profession. Along with the technical requirements of the degree, students will take business and other general classes that are valuable in all professional careers. While enrolled in the program, students must choose one of two elective concentrations: Web Application Development or Networking and Security. Information Technology - Associate'sThis degree provides students with fundamental knowledge in the principles of computers including software development, database, networking and security. Students will also learn basic business principles. They select to specialize in either computer networking or software development. Students will provide evidence of competencies in communications, social sciences, humanities and fine arts. Analytical and inferential reasoning and computational skills as well as the ability to learn on one's own are also taught. This degree will prepare students for an entry level position in network support or software development. AccreditationMSB is nationally accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award diplomas, associate in applied science degrees, bachelor of science degrees and master degrees. Additionally, Minnesota School of Business is licensed as private career schools with the Minnesota Office of Higher Education.
