Montgomery Campus

South University - Montgomery is located on the rapidly growing east side of Montgomery, AL. As Alabama's state capital, Montgomery is a hub of government, banking and law, as well as one of the state's cultural and entertainment centers. Montgomery is situated in the middle of the southeastern states, less than a 3-hour drive from Atlanta, Birmingham, AL, and the Gulf of Mexico.

Campus facilities include computer and health professions labs, a library, comfortably outfitted classrooms, a student center and bookstore, as well as faculty and administrative offices.

Associate of Science or Bachelor of Science in Information Technology

Information Technology describes applications of computing and communications technology within the confines of an enterprise. The term includes hardware such as computers, networking equipment, telecommunication equipment and multimedia, as well as software programs that control and function on such equipment. Consequently, higher education programs in Information Technology aim to prepare professionals specializing in various aspects of the Information Technology fields.

The Information Technology Department at South University uses a curriculum that targets today's most important software development technologies.
